Bishop Hamblin
Bishop
Bishop Hamblin is a general dentist with a practice in Mesa. He enjoys spending a lot of time with his family. He loves to be in the outdoors hiking, biking, and riding in his RZR.
Sister Hamblin enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her 3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, and 8 grandchildren.
Testimony: We both have a strong testimony that we have a loving Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ. We feel Their love, direction, and guidance every day. We consider serving with the YSA a huge blessing in our lives. Our eternal goal together is to become true followers and disciples of Jesus Christ and we want to help others to do the same.
Brother Whipple is a physical therapist. He enjoys playing pickleball and racquetball and loves playing games with his family.
Sister Whipple is finishing her Master's Degree and will be a licensed mental health counselor. She loves to sing and is very creative with anything crafty. She loves her three children and five grandchildren.
Testimony: We are grateful that our Heavenly Father’s plan allows for growth. We know that by taking advantage of the power of the atonement we can grow closer to our Savior Jesus Christ. We know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that we have prophets today to help guide and direct us. We know that we are children of God and that by desiring and trying we are enough in His eyes.
Mike and Vicki Wares. Married 46 years, 4 children, and 12 grandchildren (two oldest grandchildren are married and two more will be married soon!) Mike graduated from BYU in 1980 with an electrical engineering degree and has worked for Boeing in Mesa for 36 years. He is looking forward to retiring soon! Other than working part-time when we were at BYU, Vicki has stayed at home raising our children, and now spends her time being an amazing grandmother (the best!)
Mike and Vicki love to travel, go on dates to the movies and dinner, house boating at lake Powell, rock and roll concerts and plays, Mountain View football and basketball games, and spend time with our family whenever possible.
We are grateful to be members of the Chaparral Park ward and to have the opportunity to serve in the Bishopric.
