Stake Relief Society President
Sister Larson is from Safford, Arizona. She loves the sunshine, reading good books, playing the guitar, speaking Portuguese, eating all the yummy food, learning about Jesus, and laughing. She was recently called to serve as the Stake Relief Society President. The best part of this call so far has been getting to know YOU and all the incredible sisters and brothers in the Stake.
Testimony: I know that Christ lives! His restored church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is led by a living prophet who speaks for Christ and points us toward Him. Living Christ's gospel and making covenants with Him brings me great peace and joy in this life and will continue to do so in the life to come. The Book of Mormon has played a key part in my learning and applying the doctrine of Christ. It is the truest book on earth! I know that! Most importantly, I know that God loves His children. Because He loves you and me, He sent His Son to die for us. As we return that love by trying to follow Him, our lives will be infinitely blessed!
Stake Relief Society 1st Counselor
Stake Relief Society 2nd Counselor
Sister Hunsaker was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. She loves being outside in the sun! She's also passionate about music. Any chance she has to listen to a song, she’ll take it! She also loves to watch sports- hockey the most. She's a huge fan of action sports! Family means the world to her, and she loves to take her ancestors' names to the temple as often as she can.
Testimony: I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that He atoned for me; that I can repent and heal from anything because of Him. I know that He’s a miracle worker. I know the He knows me in detail and cares about the things that matter to me. I know that making and keeping covenants yokes us to Him and allows us to return to our Father in Heaven. The big picture is eternal life with those we love, and the gospel of Jesus Christ is the way to have that.
Stake Relief Society Secretary
Sister Arnett was born & raised in Mesa, Arizona but spent the last little while living in Utah where she graduated from BYU. She loves skiing, Lake Powell, country music, Diet Coke, family time & most importantly Jesus. She was recently called to be the Secretary in our Stake Relief Society Presidency and cannot wait to serve with and get to know so many wonderful people!
Testimony: I know Joseph Smith restored the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ & translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God only. I love the Book of Mormon and know it was written for you and me, today. I know that God loves us more than we could ever understand and am so grateful for the knowledge I have that we are His children. I know He is so aware of us and that through the Savior and our covenants, we can find peace.
